Heartbeat of Uganda
WE HEAL, WE TRANSFORM, WE EMPOWER
MUSIC FOR TRANSFORMATION AND EMPOWERMENT
Learn MoreAbout The Program
Heartbeat of Uganda is a pioneering cross-cultural music education and entertainment initiative that unlocks the boundless potential of children, youth, and adults across communities and schools in the United States and Africa.
This program aims to joyfully celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the two continents, leveraging the transformative power of music to address fundamental life challenges and empower individuals of all ages, with a special focus on youth.
We believe that music has the profound ability to heal, inspire, and uplift. Heartbeat of Uganda engages in school and community outreach, music concerts, instrument-making and craft-building workshops, trauma healing sessions, and life skill development programs. By combining the energetic dances, songs, and drum rhythms from the two continents, we strive to create an inclusive and accessible approach to learning that resonates with all grades and ages, unlocking a brighter future for all.
